Monday, December 16, at 7:00 p.m. Prayer of Peace in the spirit of Taizé, at St. Mary’s downtown. Gathered in the presence of Christ, in this ecumenical Christian prayer we sing uncomplicated songs, allowing the mystery of God to become tangible through the beauty of simplicity. This contemplative monthly prayer features music, scripture, candlelight, prayers for the world and an extended period of silence for meditation. Note that the prayer will happen on the third Monday of the month (instead of the second Monday) because of the holy day on the 9th. | prayerofpeacegr.org

Plan to attend a day-long retreat being planned for February or March. The retreat will be held at St. Francis Retreat Center in Dewitt, Michigan. Come for all or part of the day. Details will be announced in January. Deanery Happy Hours! Board members want to meet the musicians of our diocese. Music directors have been contacted about when and where, but this isn’t just for directors!
